SELLING IN THE ALTERED MOMENTS MARKET
Members of our Altered Moments Market Facebook group can post listings in the group to sell their original or altered Precious Moments figurines.
Membership has two levels: Regular and Power Seller
Regular members:
All members are eligible to participate for free and post their listings in the group, with these restrictions:
- Only three published posts at any given time
- Posts will require moderator approval, as will any edits made to them
Note: Approvals are processed at the convenience of our volunteer moderator team.
Power Sellers:
Active selling members who would like to have more than three posts at a time may apply for our "Power Seller" program. This paid program will provide extended benefits to approved participants on a monthly basis.
Approved Power Sellers will have these benefits during their membership period:
- UNLIMITED LISTINGS - No limit on number of published posts per week
- PRE-APPROVAL - Automatic publishing of your posts and edits (no moderation needed)
- ADVICE - Invitation to mentor meetings with Chica (group video call twice a month to discuss selling/creating/etc)
- EXPOSURE - One of your pieces featured each month in the Altered Moments group in a round-up post
- STATUS - "Group Expert" tag in the Altered Moments Market group
Note: Even though pre-approval will be granted to the seller, all posts are still subject to review by the moderators, and will be declined/removed if they violate existing group rules.
WHO CAN BECOME A POWER SELLER
All Power Seller applicants are vetted by our admin team and have to be approved before this authority will be granted. Sellers must be in good standing in the group and have exhibited good posting habits and adherence to the group rules.
Power Seller membership is granted on a monthly basis at a cost of $19 per month.
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE POWER SELLER PROGRAM
The application process is repeated every month starting on the 15th, and is in effect for the following month. (For example, to be a Power Seller in November, you must complete the application process that begins October 15th)
- Application window will open from the 15th - 20th
- Applications will be reviewed from the 21st - 25th
- Accepted members will be billed ($19/mo) via PayPal on the 26th
- Payment must be received by the last day of the month
- Pre-approval will be granted to accepted, paid members on the 1st of the next month

Note: Existing Power Seller will receive an email on the 15th inviting them to renew without having to re-apply.

Who approves Power Seller applications?
Chica works with the admins and moderators to review each application.
What if I get denied?
If you are not approved to be a Power Seller for the application period, you will be given feedback indicating why, and invited to apply again in a future month.
What do I get if I pay for the Power Seller program?
As an approved Power Seller, you can publish unlimited posts per week with no moderator approval required for posts or edits. NOTE that your posts are still subject to the rules, and may be moderated/deleted if they do not comply.
How much is the Power Seller program?
Power Sellers members pay $19 USD per month, billed via email through PayPal.
Can I still post for free?
Yes, you can post a maximum of two published posts per calendar week (Sunday-Saturday) for free.
Will my posts and edits still require moderator approval?
If you are a regular (free) member, your posts and edits will be subject to moderator approval before being published. If you become a Power Seller, you will receive pre-approval during your membership period and all posts and edits will be published instantly with no approval required (but they are still subject to group rules and subject to moderator action if they don't comply.)
What counts as a "published" post?
Any post you make to the group feed counts as a published post. Further edits to that post do not count as additional posts unless those edits are remarkably significant (in other words, changing the entire content to something new).
Can I have two at a time, or two total per week?
Regular members can publish two total posts per week, regardless if they are still active or not. If you post twice and then delete one or both of them, you have still met the max of two posts and can not post again during that week.
